Want to get into In Bloom as quickly as possible? Leave your bag at home! If you DO NOT have a bag, please enter through the No Bag Express Lane. If you DO have a bag, please enter through the Bag Lane and expect delays as bags are open for inspection. ALL bags will be searched before entry. For your safety, bags will be restricted to small purses and draw string bags and may not exceed 14″ x 11″ x 5″ (35cm x 28cm x 12cm). Backpacks and bags with multiple pockets are prohibited. Camelback’s are allowed, but must be empty and have only one additional pocket. Please check the list of prohibited items in advance, listen for the audio announcements and dispose of any item that is not allowed inside the festival.

Do not leave your items unattended. Lockers are available for rent to store personal items. Each locker comes with a universal cell phone charging pack to help keep your devices charged and readily available. Cell phone charging packs are also available for purchase at the Locker tent west of the Ostara Stage.

Please have your wristbands securely fastened on your right wrist and visible to security as you enter the festival grounds.

Your safety is our top priority. Here are some helpful tips on how to prepare for the fest:

  • Have Emergency Contact info on your person and your phone lock screen in case emergency personnel need to know (PRO-TIP: Make sure to register your wristband where you will be asked to fill out an Emergency Contact).
  • Remember to stay hydrated by visiting our Academy Hydration Huts for free filtered water, cooling down in our cooling buses on Allen Pkwy, and eating regularly at the Houston Eats Food Court.
  • Protect yourself from the sun – take breaks and find shade. Sunscreen lotion, hats, and sunglasses are key.
  • Bring hearing protection – we get loud, so ear plugs are a good idea. Forget yours? Stop by the Info tent to ask for a pair.
  • Keep yourself and your belongings safe – be aware of your surroundings and keep an eye on your personal items at all times. Need a locker? Reserve one in advance here. If you find something OR lose something, head to the information booth for our Lost & Found. The information booth is located next to the East entrance where you can also use our Tag-a-Kid service and register your kids with the festival. Keep your cell phone and wallet close – the Houston Police Department will be on the lookout for cell phone theft.
  • Bring a list of allergies and medications you take in case of medical emergency.
  • Dress for the weather – we’re constantly monitoring the weather. Keep an eye on the radar before heading to Eleanor Tinsley Park so you can dress accordingly (rain boots, ponchos, etc).

From creating your custom schedule to mapping out where your fave local restaurant is in Eleanor Tinsley Park – download The Official In Bloom Music Festival Mobile App for iPhone and Android and you’ll have everything you need to know right in the palm of your hand.

PRO-TIP: Be sure to opt-in for push notifications to stay in the know about what’s going on around the festival. You’ll be the first to know about things like schedule changes, important updates, and fun giveaways.
